RapidKL released an apology statement one day later, addressing the incident.
According to the company, the doors of the LRT Kelana Jaya Train had failed to close after departure from Ara Damansara Station.
In a scene straight out of the Divergent movie, passengers were left afraid for their lives as the LRT proceeded to travel for 900 meters towards the next station in Lembah Subang in such a bizarre state.
And, Twitter users weren't shy to make light of the situation either.
Luckily, there were only seven passengers on board at the time of the incident. RapidKL reported that all passengers were safe and the train had been sent for immediate inspection.
