PENANG: "Wira Oren" Cleaning Workers Rummaged Through Mountains Of Garbage Just To Find Distressed Woman's Jewelry
A woman in Tasek Gelugor, Pulau Pinang, Yaya Ismail, had one of the most distressful days of her life when she lost her most prized possession: her gold jewelry collection, which she accidentally tossed away while disposing of her son's used diaper.
Dismayed by her own carelessness, the woman then went on a search mission, determined to find her treasure. Long story short, she was told to head to the local cleaning depot as a last resort. Upon explaining her situation to The Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) sanitation workers, whom she later regarded as "Wira Oren", they began rummaging through the garbage, with one goal in mind: to find this woman's lost belongings. They genuinely felt sorry for her as she was crying and visibly in despair.
Fast forward to the happy ending, her prized possession was finally unearthed from the mountain of garbage, thanks to the "Wira Oren". and needless to say, Yaya was overjoyed. According to Yaya, there were about 10 MBSP workers that were so kind to lend their helping hand with the rummaging.
