As of today September 9th 2022 (EST), reports have stated that Queen Elizabeth II has passed on at age 96.
Based on E!NEWS, a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex earlier noted of the couple heading to the Queen's Balmoral Estate after doctors shared that they were "concerned" about the queen's health.
Meghan and Harry who were already in Europe joined Prince William, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and more members of the royal family to be with her, following Buckingham Palace's statement.
"Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen's doctors are concerned for Her Majesty's health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision," the Palace shared.
Next in line, His Majesty King Charles has since released an official statement acknowledging the passing of his beloved mother.
