Train commuters are left frustrated by the lack of options to top up their monthly My50 passses and had to make a beeline at the station counters in order to do so with only cash.
Taking the matter to X, user @leelian_kong highlighted her irritation of having to waste her time and energy to do it every month, just like thousands of other commuters.
"Every month I have to top up my My50 monthly pass at the counter, only cash.
"There are four machines but you can only buy tokens as the Touch n Go function is not working since the MRT (Mass Rail Transit) was operating," she said, adding that the incident happened at Maluri MRT station.
She shared an image of the other commuters who were also lining up at the station's counter believed to be renewing their monthly passess as well.
Antara benda paling tak efisien dan buang masa & tenaga ialah kena top up pas bulanan My50 tiap2 bulan kat kaunter. Cash sahaja. Ada 4 mesin tapi boleh beli token shj walaupun ada fungsi topup TouchNGo yg dah rosak sejak MRT baru bukak berapa tahun lalu sampai skrg @mrt_malaysia pic.twitter.com/2t7oWxaSCW

MRT Corp has reached out and extended an apology to her via her X post.
"We will share the matter to @askrapidkl operator for further assistance," the X post said.
