Since 1977 to March of this year, the government has tallied up to RM11 billion in unclaimed funds, according to Ahmad Maslan.
The deputy finance minister stated at a press conference that the government had received RM14.1 billion in total from various companies during that time.
Unclaimed funds totalling RM3.2 billion have all been returned to their rightful owners.
