We've been hearing numerous reports of missing people lately. Typically, these cases involve kidnappings, hostage situations, and more. However, this particular story is quite intriguing.
A Malaysian man had gone missing for a considerable period, leading his family to file a report and share his details on social media, which eventually went viral and caused concern throughout the nation. Little did anyone know, the man had been evading debt collectors. When he was eventually found, he had a bruised face and body and had endured traumatic experiences during his time away.
Turns out he managed to escape from where he was trapped and was rescued by a lorry driver who found him.
The police investigation revealed that he wasn't actually "missing" but had intentionally kept himself hidden from debt collectors. This information came to light through the statement provided by the 27-year-old man, who was assisting the police in solving the case.
Previously, the police had requested the alleged missing person to come forward to aid in the investigation. Furthermore, no reports of robbery or other crimes were filed by Daniel or anyone else related to the incident.
