ICYMI: WATCH: Retired Headmaster's Tiny Public Library Uplifts The Neighbourhood In Puchong
A man who allegedly assaulted his wife's male friend at a petrol station in Taman Bukit Indah, Johor Bahru, was taken into custody by police today.
Superintendent Ibrahim Mat Som, the acting head of Iskandar Puteri police, stated that the 35-year-old suspect and the victim both filed reports after the alleged assault's video went viral on April 7.
The victim said that he had been beaten by his friend's husband.
According to Ibrahim, the individual was taken into custody this afternoon (April 8) on Lebuh Kota Iskandar. The suspect's voluntary infliction of harm and intimidation resulted in his arrest.
According to Ibrahim, the inquiry showed that jealousy was the root of the altercation. Video of the fight between two men and a woman at the Petronas Bukit Indah petrol station earlier went viral.
A woman attempted to pull the victim away as a man was spotted abusing another man. After becoming enraged by her behaviour, the claimed attacker is said to have struck her multiple times.
The woman did not, however, file a report. The culprit is thought to have been the woman's spouse.
