ICYMI: WATCH: Dead Animals Discovered In A Port Dickson Home, 35 Dogs Saved
Last night in Kampung Alai, Gerik, the police detained a guy who had threatened to kill his wife and had been torturing her with candle wax.
Supt. Zulkifli Mahmood, the chief of Gerik district police, stated that the police got a report from the 35-year-old lady at approximately 1.35 in the morning. The woman claimed that her 42-year-old husband had tied her up and threatened her with a knife after accusing her of infidelity on April 13.
According to preliminary findings, the victim was resting at home on April 13 at around 10.30 p.m. when her spouse approached her and used a rope to tie both of her hands behind her back while brandishing a knife.
"The suspect, the victim's spouse, coerced her into confessing after accusing her of infidelity. The victim rejected the accusations, he said in a statement today. "The suspect also forcibly removed her gold chain and bracelet, tore her clothes, and dripped candle wax on her body while threatening to set her on fire."
The victim then feigned to need to use the loo, according to Zulkifli, and begged the suspect to untie her before discovering a set of car keys in the kitchen and driving away in the victim's vehicle to the local police station to make a report.
He stated that yesterday evening at 8:30 p.m., a police team was dispatched to locate the suspect, who was thereafter taken into custody at his home in Kampung Alai, Gerik. Seized were a number of case-related objects, including a knife that was allegedly used by the suspect.
"The victim proceeded to receive treatment at the Gerik District Hospital Emergency Department, and Sections 506/323 of the Penal Code are being examined in this case," he stated. - as reported by Malay Mail
