Following the floods in certain areas around Kuala Lumpur earlier this morning, is now its aftermath.
Based on reports, the heavy downpours have triggered a landslide and mudslide in the Wangsa Maju and Taman Melawati areas, which has brought about significant damage.
The mudslide affected several locations, including Jalan 8/27D, where residents reported severe erosion on the hillside behind their homes.
Many houses have been flooded with yellow, muddy water, sparking concerns about further collapses and safety risks in the area.
Kuala Lumpur City Hall has initiated slope repair efforts, but officials have stated that clearing mud and debris from residents' backyards remains unfeasible at present time.
