KUANTAN - An Indonesian was stabbed to death by his compatriot after they had a fight at the shared house of a board factory in Jalan Gambang here yesterday.
Kuantan Regional Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Wan Mohd. Zahari Wan Busu said, the incident happened at about 6 pm, when the victim, Ahmad Abdul Rahman, 21, was stabbed in the chest with a knife.
“The victim who died at the scene was taken to Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital (HTAA) Kuantan for an autopsy.
"Following that, the 33 -year -old suspect was arrested and the police seized a knife for further investigation," he said here today.
According to Wan Mohd. Zahari, the suspect, was remanded until October 28 and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
He said a urine screening test was done on the suspect because the suspect was said to have hallucinations.
