Four men armed with machetes and stun guns broke into a residential home and attacked a man, leaving him fatally wounded and lying in a pool of blood at the doorstep of a bedroom.
The incident, which occurred at a residence in Taman Jaya, Kapar is believed to be a case of murder. The assault was captured by CCTV cameras installed on the premises.
Assistant Commissioner Mohd Wazir Mohd Yusof, the Deputy Director of the Klang North District Police, announced yesterday that the police responded to a public report at 11:39 am and arrived at the scene to find the man lying lifeless in a pool of blood in front of a bedroom. The victim was identified as a 38-year-old local man.
"Footage from the CCTV cameras showed four unidentified men armed with machetes and stun guns entering the house, while another suspect remained outside in a car waiting," he said.
He added that the motive behind the attack is still under investigation. Regardless, the police will invoke Section 302 of the Penal Code (murder) to investigate the case further.
