Beware Of Hackers | FBI Teaches You How To Set Easy And Protective Passwords

In today's society, passwords play a very significant role in our lives because we use passwords to protect the privacy and financial security as passwords are required for bank accounts, social media accounts, or payment tools. As more and more of our personal information are entrusted to third parties, we may be victims of data and password leakage.

However, remembering the password could be exhausting, especially when you create different passwords for different accounts to avoid potential risks. According to the recommendations of the FBI's weekly technical column, a secure password must be at least 15 long strings. You can combine several sets of familiar words and numbers into a long password.

To keep the long password easy to remember, you can think of a sentence that does not make any sense and have the wrong grammatical order. Then, make adjustments in each word. For example, a "correct horse battery staple" password consisting of 4 words is a good choice.

You can replace the first word of the password with English capitals, replace the "O" of the English word with the number "0", and finally add the number you are familiar with at the end. To increase the difficulty, you can also add "-" between each group of words, and the final design of the password will become "C0rrect-H0rse-Battery-Staple25".

Such unrelated combination words will increase the difficulty to guess the password. As long as the password length is longer, the longer it takes for a hacker to crack the password. The information security company, Splash Data has announced some repeating passwords, including "123456", "123456789", "qwerty", and "password". Although these passwords are very easy to remember. Don't use either of these passwords on important websites!
