CMCO | Married Couples Are Allowed To Cross State To Meet Their Families
As the conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) is extended for another four weeks from May 13 to June 9, many people are being far from family and friends.
The government has slightly loosened the MCO to CMCO, but the restriction to cross state movement is still applied.
Today, as the fourth extension of CMCO was announced, the government has made a new exception for interstate travel. According to
Sinchew, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that married couples who live in different states are allowed to cross states to meet their families. They can apply to travel through the Gerak Malaysia app or apply directly to the nearest police station.
