SkyUp Airlines, the privately-owned Ukrainian airline carrier has taken the progressive step to abolish what they referred to as the "conservative" cabin crew attire, and will henceforth replace their uniform with a more convenient and comfortable fit.
# The Airlines Took Their Employee's Opinions Into Account
After collecting feedback from their flight attendants regarding their uniforms, SkyUps Airlines discovered that the traditional pencil skirts and heels uniform have proven to be injurious and poses a big discomfort, and thus they've vowed to put it to an end.
SkyUps Airlines' old uniform:
SkyUps Arlines' new uniform will consist of white Nike sneakers, a loose yet structured orange pantsuit, complete with a silk scarf— both made by Ukrainian brands.
"God forbid, but if a crew has to do a landing in the water and an evacuation, heels can damage the ladder and it won't be very comfortable to swim in a skirt," said Alexandrina Denysenko, a senior flight attendant of the Ukrainian airlines.
Perhaps more airlines should implement something similar? It's such an edgy look and we're here for it!
