Recently, an amusing video of a man trying to purchase green beans in a local supermarket went viral, as he carefully picks them one by one. Why? Well, apparently, it costs RM8.99 EACH.
The video posted by @Meowww on TikTok quickly garnered numerous responses from social media users, who found the video quite humorous. Usually, grocery items such as green beans are typically sold based on their weight in grams or kilograms, but this one particular supermarket seems to play outside of the rules.
Whatever it is, it can't be denied that inflation has greatly affected us these past couple of years. Let's hope it won't get as severe as this, though.
