A motorcyclist narrowly escaped an attack by an unidentified man at a traffic light intersection near Bintulu, Sarawak. A video capturing the incident has circulated on social media since Tuesday.
In the 35-second clip, the strange man is initially seen walking near the intersection before approaching a motorcyclist who is waiting at the traffic light. However, the motorcyclist is believed to have noticed the man, armed with a sharp weapon, and quickly fled, leaving his motorcycle behind.
Subsequently, the man is seen threatening other cars that have stopped at the intersection. Moreover, he appears to try to open the doors of some cars in the area. Fortunately, there are no reported injuries to any individuals in this incident.
"Went berserk. Claimed to have issues while holding a knife. Then went on to disturb the public. Luckily, nothing happened to them", wrote Syazwani Hadi, who uploaded the video on her Facebook.
Meanwhile, public comments indicate that the man has been detained by the police. As of writing this report, there has been no official statement from the police regarding the incident.
