ICYMI: Air-Conditioning Worker Dies In A Bangsar South Accident After Falling From The 7th Floor
On Monday night (April 22), the Civil Defence Force (APM) rescued a two-year-old child who was stuck inside a car in the city centre.
Kuala Lumpur According to APM Operations Officer Lieutenant Shahrul Kamar Mohd Johari, the incident occurred at 8.30pm in Jalan Bukit Bintang and included the child's father, a South Korean national, who had just changed his son's nappy before locking the door.
He claimed that the guy, ignorant that the car key was in his child's fingers, locked the door, trapping his son inside while his wife and eldest child remained outside.
"APM personnel, upon receiving the emergency call, were deployed to the location and opened the car door at 8.55pm," according to what he told reporters.
He stated that the APM team took 10 minutes to open the car door, and the child was confirmed to be safe.
