A heart-wrenching video shared on TikTok has struck a chord in netizens’ hearts, which showed a stray dog limping in pain after its hind leg was tied with a barbed wire.
The horrific sight caught the attention of an UPSI student, who found it roaming helplessly around the university’s hostels. It’s unknown who was the cruel culprit behind the abuse.
She then shared the dog’s condition online, hoping that any animal rights activists would step in to rescue it.
Eventually, a kind individual known as Devan Anna and his team swiftly headed to the location, and managed to find the dog for further care and treatment.
Many have praised their selflessness and quick action in helping the dog, as the student mentioned that its hind leg was already beginning to rot if no intervention was made.
