The acclaimed director, Choi Dong-hoon is going to direct other new work named [Aliens]. This new drama will be played by Ryu Jun-yeol, Kim Woo Bin, So Ji-sub, Kim Tae-ri, Yum Jung-ah, Lee Ha-nui, Jo Woo-jin, and Kim Ui-Seong. They are all popular and talented Korean star. This drama must be another blockbuster in the coming future.
Friends who have watched the well-known Korean family drama [Reply 1988] would be familiar to Ryu Jun-yeol who played a sweet character that gave up his love for the female protagonist to fulfil the happiness of his friends. In reality, he is in love with Hyeri of Girl's Day. After their love relationship was discovered, he admitted honestly that they are having a stable love relationship, and their fans are very happy for them!
His latest work is [The Battle: Roar to Victory], which was released in 2019. This is a historical movie that tells how the Korean Independence Army fought against the Japanese Army.
Kim Tae-ri and Ryu Jun-yeol had collaborated previously in filming "Little Forest". That drama is the remake of the Japanese comic called "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter". It is a story about the heroine who is excessively stressed and returns to her hometown for one year. During that period, the heroine can feel and experience the four seasons. Originally, in 2017, Kim Woo Bin planned to film in another film directed by Choi Dong-hoon, which began in 2017, called [Wiretap]. However, due to his illness, he suspended all his work and undergone treatment. Therefore, this return work is dedicated to Director Choi Dong-hoon but his role in this [Aliens] drama is unclear. After waiting for three years, his fans can finally see his acting again!
In addition to being the Miss Korea champion in 2006, Lee Ha-nui was also one of the trainees of YG Company. She almost made her debut as a member of the well-known Korean female group 2NE1. Although she did not make her debut as a member for that female group, she did a great job in acting and hosting. She has appeared in the high-rated Korean movie [Extreme Job]. She and Ryu Jun-yeol also co-starred in the movie [Heart Blackened], in which Ryu Jun-yeol played a fan who loves Lee Ha-nui.
In addition to Ryu Jun-yeol and Kim Woo Bin, there is also a charming man, So Ji-sub! His famous works were [Master's Sun] and [Oh My Venus]. [Aliens] is a story with the theme of science fiction crime, which is about aliens living in South Korea. The overall story will be divided into two. The first script has been completed and it is scheduled to start shooting on March 28th. If everything goes well, the film will be officially released in the summer of 2021!
