Netizens Call Govt LIARS for Postponing Voting Age 18

As Twitter trends the latest in politics throughout our dear country Malaysia, on today's newest is #PNipu.

The bill for lowering the voting age to 18 was done so, unanimously, by Parliament two years ago. However, based on recent reports, announcement by SPRM (election commission) yesterday March 25th, stated that Undi18 would only be implemented after September 2022. 

Noting that the reason for their decision was because of Covid-19, as well as the number of 18-20 year olds within the country, the update raged netizens, and they did not take the news well.

Undi18 was championed by Muar MP Syed Saddiq, and he has since been urging young Malaysians to keep fighting the good fight for their right to vote.
