New Year's was a few days back, and despite government restrictions of no large-scale celebrations, sometimes that's just easier said than done.
Based on reports by World of Buzz, all those who took their celebrations to a bar in Puchong, were fined RM1000 per person for violating Covid-19 SOPs.
However not all hope was lost, as the bar then later announced via Facebook (January 2nd), that they would bear all costs of every fine handed out.
Known as The Light Concept Bar, they noted via their post that they have always followed SOPs set by the government, however when it comes to violation of SOPs, the cops have final say.
"We will take full responsibility on the patrons who were slapped with the fines for violating the SOPs. Do send us the slips of your fine", they wrote.
On top of that, the bar also apologized and stated that all those who were affected would be given cash discount coupons, as compensation.
