Technical glitch or VIP? One thing's for sure, movie goers aren't buying TGV Cinemas' recent fiasco.
On Mar. 5, the TGV outlet at Vivacity Megamall (Kuching) experienced an abrupt screening delay of The Batman, whereby the movie was forced to RESTART halfway through.
The issue obviously angered moviegoers, who had to endure the blockbuster's additional 45 minutes rerun, on top of the almost 3 hour running time.
According to a moviegoer's juicy details on his Facebook page, he claimed that the fiasco was due to 'latecomers'.
Following Fazillah's sharing, TGV was subjected to netizens' spewing accusations, with many pointing the finger towards 'VVIP treatment'.
The cinema chain has since countered the so-called VIP allegations by clarifying that it was in fact caused by a technical glitch.
To appease customers from boycotting, TGV has even launched a V-V-VIP Day promo as an act of damage control, with hashtags alluding to the said fiasco.
