Want to get your music taste statistically judged? Try Spotify Icebergify!
What's that, you ask?
According to Icebergify, statistics from your top 50 artists are gathered regarding your short, medium, and long-term listening tendencies. In regards to the list of artists that may appear on your iceberg, it could either be the bands you've only recently started listening to or performers you haven't heard in a while.
So don't be surprised if some musicians you've only occasionally or rarely listened to, appear in your iceberg's hall of fame.
Your top artists are examined and classified according to their notoriety or obscurity, and then placed in an iceberg category. You may want to consider broadening your musical preferences beforehand though, before you use this tool. This is due to the fact that if you don't listen to any musicians in a particular degree of popularity, the level will just remain blank.
For instance, if your frequently listened artist happens to be Taylor Swift, one of the most well known musicians, she will be at the to of your iceberg. The deeper they are positioned down the iceberg, the more obscure their rank becomes. Let's say you religiously listen to Cocky Cosmonaut, they will most likely be placed at the very bottom, significant to their obscurity level.
Similarly, if you don't listen to any music pertaining to a particular level, that level will simply remain void of any artist. In short, the more artists are on the bottom levels of your iceberg, the more rare your music taste is.
It'll look something like this:
