A TikTok video showcasing a unique wedding cake has gone viral, amassing over 700,000 views.

The 21-second clip begins with a newlywed couple cutting into the massive burger cake and posing for photos.

It then transitions to footage of how the creation was made, revealing layers of lettuce, a beef patty, cheese, and mayonnaise sandwiched between two oversized sesame buns.

The unusual cake, weighing 1.5kg, was served to guests at the couple's wedding reception in November.

The grooms father, explained that the burger cake was a special request from his son.

Most of the guests at the event were excited to see the couple cutting the burger.

"Some might find it odd, but its actually what makes life interesting.

"A wedding cake doesn't necessarily have to follow traditional norms. What's important is that it brings meaning and happiness to the couple", he added.

The creative twist has inspired netizens, with many expressing interest in ordering similar custom cakes for their own events.

While one commenter joked about deconstructing the burger to eat the bread and patty separately, another praised the idea as practical and waste-free, ensuring all the food is enjoyed.
