Woman reportedly falls to her death while she was posing for a photo on a cliff in Turkey to celebrate the end of lockdown due to coronavirus in the country.
According to Oriental Daily, the woman, identified as Olesya Suspitsyna, was originally from Kazakhstan. As the Turkish government lifted the weeks-long lockdown, she decided to go for a walk to Duden Park, an area known for its scenic waterfalls in the tourist city of Antalya.
During the walk, the 31-year-old climbed over the safety fence in order to take photos with the waterfalls in the background. While posing for the photos, she slipped on the grass, lost her balance and plunged off the cliff to her death.
Her female friend, terrified, called emergency service immediately. Local rescuers arrived and pulled her body out of the water, but she had already stopped breathing.
