Sometimes we’re landed in a situation where we have no choice but to take our young children out of home during the pandemic. When this happens, all we want is to ensure they get full protection. So, wearing mask seems to be the first and must-do step to protecting our beloved babies. Some parents even have their children’s masks custom-made so they would fit perfectly.
Nevertheless, the Japanese Pediatric Society (JPS) has just warned parents to NOT to put mask on their children aged under two as the mask could make it difficult for them to breathe and increase their risks of getting heat stroke or suffocation.
According to JPS, children have lower risks of getting the virus and in most cases, they were infected at homes instead of schools or childcare centers.

Parents must now feel like walking the tightrope, whether to let their infants where masks or not. Anyway, the easiest method to keep your children safe is to have them stay at home as much as possible, and if you REALLY have to take them out, make sure it won’t be long.
