Dhia Qaseh Afia Fadzil does not let cerebral palsy stop her from achieving excellent results for her SPM. She may not have been one the SPM candidates who obtained straight As but she has all the reason to be proud of her achievements.
Dhia was born with cerebral palsy and managed to chalked up 3As, 2A-s, 1Bs and 2Ds and we are so proud of her. Her determination to excel did not go to waste despite having difficulties moving her limbs.
One of the proudest people for Dhia would be her mother, who went with Dhia to collect her SPM results. "I am very grateful. This is a very pleasant surprise as she faced a lot of hardship," said Dhia's mother. She further added, "I prayed very hard for her to pass, but she has achieved something beyond our expectations."
Online learning was hard for a lot of students for the past two years and this does not exclude Dhia. It was challenging for her to prepare for the examination as she had to adapt to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dhia studied for 3 and half hours every day. When she had trouble understanding certain topics, she would contact her teachers for explanation. We applaud Dhia's dedication to study!
