The barbershops in Singapore are approved to re-open on May 12. The barbershops could only provide washing, cutting, and blowing services.
"Lianhe Wanbao" reported that Lai Jincai (50 years old), the owner of the Salon.B revealed that they had been booked for a full week after the government announced that the barbershop could be opened on May 12. His store's opening time is currently shortened and each barber can only accept up to 8 customers a day. Lai Jincai suggested that customers try to make an appointment as much as possible. If they enter temporarily, they will be scheduled to make an appointment for another period of time, and they will not be allowed to wait in the store.

The owners of the barbershops have also said that they will strictly abide by the instructions of the Ministry of Health. For example, they conduct temperature tests as well as to record the personal identity and health status of customers at the door of the store.
