This Malaysian accidentally transferred RM1,000 to a stranger, but because she was too introverted, she was afraid to call the bank and report the incident to the authorities, sparking a wave of discussion online.

The woman, @nodrohzomono, shared her story on Twitter, saying, "Lol I transferred RM1k to the wrong account. I am too introverted to call the bank and make a police report. The thing has already happened. Well, let the person enjoy it la. Selamat Hari Raya in advance."

Although it is unknown who the "lucky" recipient is, the original poster's post has sparked discussions among netizens, with some urging her to report the incident, while others have left their bank account numbers, hoping to be the next lucky recipient.

"I have also transferred to the wrong account before. Just follow two simple steps, report the details to the authorities and call the bank, and they will settle it. I received my money back from the bank two months later," said one user.

"I am also an introverted person. I have also accidentally transferred RM200 to someone else. I contacted the bank directly and went to the police station to report the case. Since it was my first time reporting a case, I had to report it twice. I got my money back a year later."

"Girl let's not be like this! Even I used to be very shy until I got scammed and stayed quiet.. it's a loss for us, sis.. hopefully, you'll gain more courage to speak up for yourself."

"Next time, if you make a mistake, you can transfer it to this account: Maybank 1621xxxxxxxx."

This incident serves as a reminder that if anyone mistakenly transfers money to the wrong account, they should immediately report the incident to the authorities and the bank to rectify the situation.
