1. They Both Die At The End By Adam Silvera

Editor's comments: You'd think knowing how this story ends by the title would ease the impact but nope, you will still cry, clutching your heart once you reach the last page. 

2. Song Of Achilles By Madeline Miller

Synopsis:

"The story is told from the perspective of Patroclus who, exiled by his father to live in the court of Peleus, soon falls in love with his host's son, the superhuman Achilles: from childhood, his demi-god status means he is swifter, more beautiful and more skilled than all his peers." 

Editor's comment: Honoring historical figures, who have always been portrayed a certain way; by illustrating their own side of the story will always be an interesting fiction archetype to explore. If you're into Illiad, you'll love this. 

3. It Ends With Us By Colleen Hoover 

Synopsis:

Editor's comment: A love story that has a heartbreaking twist is basically catnip for you if you're the type to like getting your heart broken by fictional characters, nuff said. 

4. Normal People By Sally Rooney

Synopsis:

5. The Secret History By Donna Tartt 

Synopsis:

Editor's comment: Imagine finding out the truth behind your best friend's murder and having it break your entire soul once you find out why. I'd only recommend this if you don't mind getting your heart ripped out of your chest continuously.
