Based on reports by Astro Awani, it would appear that Malaysia's fight against Covid-19, is but far from over. On top of the 5,000+ cases on the daily, a new wave of the virus has been predicted to happen, as the year draws to a close.
Taking to Twitter yesterday (Nov 16), one Dr. Azfar Kamal from the Sungai Buloh Hospital, noted that a surge of cases could be happening over the upcoming two weeks.
Urging to keep SOPs, he also explained how wards have been refilling again with category 4 & 5 patients.
The number of positive cases which significantly dropped for the nation, began ascending last week after Diwali celebrations.

As means to properly navigate a possible new wave, everyone in Malaysia has been reminded to practice strict SOPs and receive their respective booster shots, when they get the chance.
