As we all know, one of the most active advocate for COVID-19 vaccinations in Malaysia is our Health Minister YB Khairy Jamaluddin. He's often seen in press conferences and even on Twitter encouraging the people to get vaccinated to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Recently, there was a slight drama on social media when a Twitter user shared a post containing photos of our Health Minister, YB Khairy Jamaluddin's vaccination staus that shows that he had not received both his 1st and even 2nd dose of vaccinations.
This screenshot was taken by the user directly from the website of the Jawatankuasa Khas Jaminan Akses Bekalan Vaksin Covid-19 (JKJAV).
Here's the screenshot:
The allegations certainly did cause quite a shock among some who knew that KJ was among the first people to receive the Sinovac vaccine.
In response to the Tweet, posted a Tweet stating that the vaccination status in the screen shot is not accurate as the website has not been active or updated since October 2021.
He also added that he received his 1st Sinovac on on the 18th of March and the 2nd dose on the 8th of April as well as the Pfizer booster shot in September of last year.
He even added some photos of himself getting vaccinated:
Terdapat screenshot status vaksinasi saya daripada laman web vaksincovid yang tular. Butiran tersebut tidak tepat kerana laman web ini tidak lagi aktif & dikemas kini sejak Okt 2021. For the record, saya menerima dos 1 Sinovac pada 18/3, dos 2 pada 8/4 & booster Pfizer pada Sep. pic.twitter.com/XinosTdakI

So, don't worry guys, KJ is vaccinated. Don't use this screenshot as an excuse not to get vaccinated!!
