If you are wondering why the Covid-19 virus is spreading so fast around the world that now it has somehow become out of control, this is one of the reasons.

A 22-year-old social media influencer, Ava Louise, filmed herself licking an airplane toilet seat in what she called a “coronavirus challenge” while attempting to start a Tik Tok trend. She then posted the video to her Twitter.

The stupid stunt has — as she hoped—brought her fame overnight as the video received 3.7 million views on Twitter.

People are disgusted by her act just to gain attention, with some even calling for her to be jailed. One Twitter user wrote, “She should b arrested for encouraging ppl to get infected.” 

Another user commented, “What is wrong with her.”

However, Louise doesn’t seem to mind after getting slammed on the internet. In fact, she was quite happy how things turn out. She loved the attention.

Louise was “tired of some b**** named corona getting more publicity than ME,” according to Business Insider Malaysia.

“It’s not like the virus can kill me anyway because I don’t use Facebook,” she said, reassuring her audience that she is totally fine even after that disgusting act.

What’s made us more furious is that the stunt actually made her money. “I love breaking the internet. I just made $4000 lmfao”, the America-based influencer said.

The clip appeared to have been removed from Tik Tok.

Well, this doesn’t seem a matter to her as it looks like she already got the effect she desired.

 But do we really have to go this far to get attention? It is not funny at all. We shouldn’t take the virus outbreak so lightly. It has taken so many lives in the past few months. 

Practice good hygiene as that is the most important thing we can do to keep us from contracting the virus. And stay away from crowd and stupidity.
