A girl in Thailand recently shared a group of picture of a dead leopard cat being grilled and cooked into food on social media. The post has quickly gone viral and received a strong backlash from netizens.
It is unsure whether she hunted the cat, found it or bought it from a seller, but whichever it is, the girl’s act has been condemned by the community as leopard cats are a protected species in Thailand.

According to Thai Residents, the post was captioned “Tonight’s dinner. Did I get it by accident? Fried spicy leopard cat.”
Although the post has been deleted and the account shut down, officials discovered 4 suspects after investigations. Local police have issued arrest warrant for the suspects.
