All lives are precious, and for some people, they may be willing to risk their life in the process of saving another.
In an incident of pure heroism, a woman risked her own safety to save a kitten in the middle of the road in Kuala Lumpur recently. Caught on a recording of a vehicles dashboard camera, the 15-second video recently went viral on the social media site X (formerly known as twitter), showcasing the heroic act.
Uploaded by the owner of the account @JulesJulietta, she stated that at first, she didn't realise the the presence of the helpless cat in the middle of the road.
"Yesterday, I seriously did not notice. Only after seeing this (the rear dashcam of the car) did I see (the kitten). Luckily I didn't hit it."
Through the recording, we witness that the woman and a man had stopped their four-wheel drive that they were driving in and acted swiftly to get out of the vehicle to save the cute animal.
She was then seen to be willing to endanger herself towards the car that was being driven slowly and ordered that the vehicle stop, because it almost about hit the small one.
As we continue driving on these busy roads, this is a gentle reminder to always stay alert, because you never know what you may encounter along your journey.
