We should always keep on improving and make a better me. It's not about others but ourselves, to make changes and head towards a better life. You can't achieve your success, your happiness, your goals by just making wishes but to work hard and get rid of your bad habits. Start to break them now!
1. Not satisfied with current life, unwilling to step out of it
Many people always have a thought that "I want to live a better life but it's so hard". If you are complaining about your current life, then step out of your comfort zone and work it out. It's either you step out or shut up, that's all!
2. Title reader
Nowadays, people like to share information with just title reading and not analyzing it. It's a bad habit to not understand the full story, to digest the correct information, and to learn from the reading. It's all about your knowledge and wisdom.
3. Not taking good care for yourself
Obviously you know that staying up late is not good for health, but you are still doing it. You might give the excuse that you have a lot of work but why don't you wake up earlier? A healthy lifestyle is very important in self-development as it tells how you discipline yourself.
4. Phone addiction
Anti-socializing because you only choose to communicate with your phone. It's sad to see that people gather around and looking down on their phones respectively. You are lacking communication and missing opportunities to build relationships with others.
5. Vision without action
You might have a lot of plans and ideas in your minds but you never start to execute it. "Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world." quoted by James Christensen. Yes, starts slowly, and execute your plan to achieve your goal in the future.
6. Postponing things
Break this bad habit as you will only end up with last-minute work and getting works done without quality. Find the cause that why are you procrastinating and find your motivation to do that. If you are forced to do that thing, maybe you can reward yourself after you get things done on the deadline that you set.
7. Avoid self-reflection
It's important to question yourself to get a better understanding of your strengths and weaknesses. It's deeper learning to reflect on yourself and the willingness to make a change. Many people think that it is time-consuming and useless but for me, I think it's important to know your mistakes and correct them as well as to compliment yourself for doing something right.
