A viral video has captured the dramatic scene of 12 cars forced to pull over to the side of the road after colliding with a large object that fell onto the highway from Johor Bahru to Kuala Lumpur. The 38-second clip shared by TikTok user @mamatLangsir reveals the damage to the front of his car, which was scratched and slightly dented from hitting the object in the dark.
In addition to the car featured in the video, several other vehicles were seen parked on the shoulder of the road, having encountered the same issue.
"12 cars are stopped on the side of the road because there's something in the middle of the road. We all hit it," the user explained. "I'm heading to Perak now. Look at my car its scratched, and the bottom part is hanging off."

Comments on the post expressed frustration over the poorly lit highway, with many sharing similar experiences. One commenter mentioned their red Mercedes was also stranded on the same highway, and they had to wait until morning for a tow. Another user recounted hitting metal debris twice on the highway between Melaka and Johor, questioning why there were no lights along the stretch. Others noted that the highway from Johor Bahru is notoriously dark and frequently dangerous for night-time travel.
