A car that once made headlines in Malaysia is back in the spotlight, this time for being auctioned off at a bargain price of RM2,000. The vehicle, famously damaged during a repossession incident, has captured attention again after its current state was shared on social media.
A few months ago, a video of a Malaysian woman smashing the windshield of her own car with a brick went viral. The dramatic scene unfolded as her vehicle was being repossessed due to eight months of unpaid loans. In a desperate attempt to prevent her car from being towed, the woman reportedly got inside the vehicle and drove it off the tow truck without unhooking it, leaving the front bumper severely damaged. Another man was also seen joining the chaotic rampage, as the repo agents watched helplessly.
Now, the car, manufactured in 2008, is being auctioned in Subang Jaya, Selangor. A Facebook post by Ishaq Marazi revealed its current condition and price. Despite its battered appearance, including cracked windshields and destroyed front and rear bumpers, the vehicle is listed for only RM2,000. Ishaq noted humorously, Its even cheaper than a Yamaha RXZ.
While the exterior damage is extensive, with both bumpers completely ruined, the rear taillights remain intact, and the car's engine and internal systems are reportedly still functioning. This could make it a tempting option for buyers looking for a project vehicle or spare parts. However, its heavily cracked windshield renders it undrivable without repairs.
