A mill worker in the Hooghly district of West Bengal, Rehmat Ali died from health complications after his colleagues pulled a deadly prank that destroyed his internal organs.
Rehmat Ali was on a night shift on November 16th when his colleagues grabbed him and forcefully inserted a pipe into his anus and pumped air into his body. Despite resisting to be let go, his colleagues did not stop. When his condition started to worsen, he was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
He then had to be transferred to a private hospital due to his deteriorating condition. Unfortunately, Rehmat Ali was pronounced dead ten days into his treatment. According to his doctor, he suffered complete organ failure due to air pressure.
Rehmat's family members lodged a police report shortly after and demanded financial compensation from Shahzada Khan, the colleague suspected to be responsible for the prank. The suspect, however, remains silent.
