Two female police officers had a fight in the police station due to a misunderstanding at work. One of them was injured and fainted.
According to Berita Harian and Guang Ming Daily, the incident occurred at 2:58 pm on May 26, 2024 at the Brickfields police station in Kuala Lumpur.
It is reported that the victim is a 29-year-old Malay female police officer with the rank of Patrol Sergeant. At the time of the incident, she wanted to get a replacement gun to go to the Taman Desa police booth for duty, but she unexpectedly had an argument with another female colleague with the rank of Sergeant during the process.
The other party hit the victim's head with a mobile phone several times and kicked the victim's legs, causing the victim to faint.
Finally, other police officers on the scene pulled the two apart and sent the injured victim to the hospital for treatment.
Brickfields District Police Chief Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood pointed out that this was a private matter between the two police officers and did not involve the public. No form of dangerous weapons were used by either party during the process.
