Sometimes, you may feel like everything’s dandy, but there are signs which can tell you otherwise.
For one, did you know that the positions you sleep in can tell you that you’re actually stressed?
Here are some examples of how your body is still stuck in stressed-response, while you’re resting!
1. The flat flamingo
This is when you’re lying on your back, and one of your legs is bent toward the other straight leg.
2. Fetal position
A well-known one, when your whole body is curved like a baby in a belly.
3. The mountain climber
Your body is posed in a way where you look like you’re climbing—you’re lying on your stomach.
4. The single claw
On hand is bent awkwardly inward and placed under your chin.
5. T-rex arms
Both hands are bent awkwardly inward and placed under your chin.
6. The air flamingo
It’s number one, but with your legs are up instead of flat on the bed.
7. The clenched fists
Both your hands are clenched as you sleep.
8. The teeth grinder
You’re grinding your teeth as you sleep.
9. The toss and turn
This one’s not even a surprise, you toss and you turn uncomfortably in your sleep.
10. The ear muffs
You cover your ears specifically as you sleep.
