One of the biggest problems young men have been facing for the longest time, is hair loss. Some even experiencing it as early as the age of 18, it really is an unfortunate circumstance for many.
However, besides the whole ordeal of it being hereditary, medically speaking, there are also many other contributing factors which well, contribute, to why a man loses hair.
What are they?
1. Diet
As much as we do not like to hear this, we are what we eat. Basically every facet of life circles around what we put into our bodies. An imbalanced, or unhealthy diet is a very strong factor as to why a man loses hair.
What you can do: We're thinking more protein and fibre.
2. Smoking
Cigarettes may feel oh so good, but they are oh so bad. Smoking literally reduces the amount of oxygen which goes to your scalp, which will then stunt hair growth.
What you can do: Do we need to say it?
3. Stress
A fact as old as time itself, stress very much affects the number of hairs you have on your head. The proven hypothesis is, the more stressful the lifestyle, the higher the amount of hair loss be going on, yaknow?
What you can do: De-stress, yoga, meditation, calm down, take a deep breath maybe.
4. Alcohol
Like smoking, alcohol too, unfortunately, promotes hair loss. We know, why does it always got to be them good stuff, right? Alcohol has scientifically proven to reduce the chances of hair growth.
What you can do: *Sigh*
5. Chemicals
Too much of anything is never good, especially chemicals. Whether it's in your shampoo, or colouring your hair, these excessive and harsh substances in the hair products you use, can very well be the reason you're losing hair.
What you can do: Try and stay away from em'.
Of course, if you're meant to lose hair, then you're going to lose hair. But for what it's worth, setting aside the factors you cannot change, at least focusing on the ones you can, may lessen or delay the inevitable.
And we're just spit-balling here, but doesn't that sound like a shot worth taking?
