Sexualized? Objectified? Harassed? Abuse? Rape? Say it and at least 1 in 5 females have been through it. Regardless of time, place or age, sexual-related crimes against women, have been prevalent for the longest of time and is still prevalent, today in 2021.
A plight on half the human race and yet an ongoing battle which has yet to be won.
When these crimes happen, various reasons as to why usually form. Sometimes it’s victims’ attitudes, other times their words and thoughts, mostly though, it’s what they were wearing.
Basically, it’s every excuse under the sun, before people actually turn around and highlight the main and only reason, a sexual-related crime happened in the first place: the predator.
So, we thought it’d be useful to talk about the few things in which women can do, as a means to prevent sexual-related crimes, from happening to them. Females should:
1. Wear what they want
What women wear is not a ‘yes you can do whatever you want to me now because of what I’m wearing’.
2. Do what they want
What women do is not an excuse for you to have your way with them. Women are human beings, not objects for sexual satisfaction.
3. Say what they want
Without actual consent coming from women themselves, no will always and forever means no. Not maybe, not probably, not we’ll see, not even silence, just no.
You see at the end of the day, there is absolutely no way in which women, can prevent these things from happening to them.
Discounting what they wear, what they say, what they think or how they act, forcing lewd, disgusting, inappropriate, thoughts, words or actions against women, is NOT okay. So long as men go about their lives thinking that women can be ill-treated, ill-treated they shall be.
The basic notion is simple. Women bear no fault to sexual-related crimes against them, and the only way they can be stopped, is for men to just, stop.
