Recently, Malaysians have been in awe of the Malaysian sleeper train which is also known as the Jungle Train because of how the train goes through the jungles of Malaysia giving you a perfect view of the rainforest. The train goes from Gemas, Negeri Sembilan to Wakaf Bharu, Kelantan, so if you're planning on going on a vacation to Kelantan, skip the drives and opt for the sleeper train instead.

After watching the videos, don't you feel a calling to go on the sleeper train? It looks so surreal, magical and peaceful like you could just curl up in one of those beds, and read a book while enjoying the jungle scenery outside your window.
Also, they have a 24-hour cafeteria on the train for you to go get a snack or a full meal whenever you're hungry!
If you are interested, you can easily take a bus or a train to the Gemas station and hop on the sleeper train from there. Here's how to book your ticket for the sleeper train:
1. Download the KTMB app and open it

2. Login or sign up for an account
3. Enter your destination
Under the ETS KTM Intercity tab, enter Gemas into the origin and Wakaf Bharu in the destination. Then, fill in the number of pax and dates and click on search.
4. Pick your seat
Click on the option that appears on your screen and then, click on the right arrow button until you start seeing bed symbols.
The bed symbol with the yellow pillow is for the upper berths which cost RM40 while the bed symbol with the green pillow is for the lower berths which cost a little more, RM46.
Pick the beds you like and when the total appears at the bottom of your screen click on next. If you have a return ticket, then follow the above steps to choose your bed all again.
5. Fill in passenger details & make payment
Then, fill in the passenger's details and click on the "Make Payment" option.
6. Save your tickets and get ready for your trip!
Lastly, make sure you save a copy of your payment receipt and save a copy of your ticket. All you have to do now is pack your bags and head out for your trip on the sleeper train...
