This Chinese aunty was in a panic when she couldn't use the machine to buy a KTM ticket because it was faulty. Syed Azmi and his pals approached her as she was terrified since she had no clue how she was going to go home.
There was no way to get a ticket because the counters had already closed at 10:05 PM.
The aunty was telling them how she needed to go back to Bangi and it looked like she was about to cry. So they offered her a ride to KTM Bangi where she can later ask someone to pick her up from there.
Over the phone, she then told her sister about the situation. They offered to discuss it with the aunty's sister after observing how upset she was. After everything was agreed upon, they questioned her to get to know her on the drive to Bangi.
She introduced herself as Teh and stated that she is 65 years old, with her oldest son being 40 years old. She's been divorced and her ex-husband has remarried.
When they reached their destination, the aunty continued to thank them for their thoughtful act and even offered them angpaos. She asked for their car's license plate number before she left so she could buy a lottery number the following day.
She told them if she does win, she's definitely treating them to a meal. Later then, her sister came to pick her up, and off she went happily.
Syed Azmi and his buddies undoubtedly performed a good deed, and he said in his post that for the three of them, this may have been the best Chinese New Year ever.
