Bringing the scenario from the movie "Snakes on a Plane" to reality, a viral social media video captured the moment passengers on a Thai AirAsia flight discovered a snake slithering atop the luggage compartment inside the aircraft.
The sight heightened anxiety among passengers, prompting them to seek assistance from flight attendants. A male cabin crew member stepped in to address the issue, initially attempting to lure the reptile into an empty water bottle. Despite initial resistance, he persisted and successfully captured the snake.
Identified as a non-venomous and harmless Blanford's Bridle, the snake caused no harm. Upon landing in Phuket, security questioned passengers and checked baggage for any potential snake smuggling, but no one admitted to such an act. The airline has yet to release an official statement, and thankfully, everyone on board is safe.
