Sixteen-year-old Nur Alia Jannah, a self-taught programmer studying in SMK Seksyen 16 Shah Alam, has won Apple's prestigious Swift Student Challenge with her innovative music review app, Tracklist.
Alia created Tracklist to track and review specific songs, albums, and artists.
Her journey into coding began after she was inspired by apps showcased at the 2021 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference.
The development process was not without challenges. Alia faced data loss and had to redo significant portions of her coding, but her determination saw her through these obstacles.
Currently, Tracklist is still in the testing phase, but Alia's success story is already inspiring many in the tech and student communities.
Alia's understanding of music reviews, combined with her coding skills, set her apart in the competition.
