A heart-wrenching case of child abuse has come to light, with shocking revelations that a young boy was locked in a dog cage simply for wetting his pants. The same child was later thrown to the floor, leading to severe injuries that required five stitches on his head and three stitches in his mouth.
These disturbing details were shared by Razif, a former employee and father of the child, who worked for a company related to Islamic products. Razif, who chose to withhold his full name, revealed that the incident occurred five years ago when his son was just five years old.
The abuse came to light as Razif opened up about his growing disillusionment with the company he once worked for. Speaking to Harian Metro, he explained that his journey with the company began in 2009 when his brother introduced him to it. He officially joined in 2010 and was stationed at a branch in Miri, Sarawak, in 2011. Razif married his first wife in 2012 and his second wife in 2019.
According to TheStar, recalling the tragic incident, Razif explained that his son was punished for wetting his pants by being locked inside a dog cage. Several months later, the abuse escalated when the child was thrown to the floor for the same reason, resulting in serious injuries.
"That was the moment when I began to question everything," Razif said. "I realized something was very wrong and started to think about leaving the company."
Razif described how he had to follow the company's orders, being stationed wherever they assigned him. However, in 2020, he returned to Peninsular Malaysia, and by October 2021, he resigned from the company. Leaving was not an easy decision for Razif, as his family was deeply involved in the teachings of the company, and he feared losing contact with his wives and children.
He claimed that the company management threatened him, preventing him from contacting his family. His first wife was allegedly instructed by the company to seek fasakh (divorce), and Razif was barred from seeing his children.
For three long years, Razif was unable to meet his family, with his children reportedly being hidden away. However, he recently won a court order that allowed him to visit his children once again.
This heartbreaking case has highlighted not only the physical abuse endured by the child but also the emotional and psychological torment experienced by Razif and his family.
