BLACKPINKs Rosé has set a new records for herself (and Bruno Mars) in 2024!

As a pre-release single for her upcoming solo album "rosie," Rosé released "APT." featuring Bruno Mars on October 18. It took only roughly five days and three hours to reach a major milestone, since the video had already received 100 million views by October 23.

This achievement not only makes APT. the fastest music video by a K-pop artist to hit 100 million views in 2024, but also the fastest overall for any artist this year.

"APT." has already accumulated over 100 million plays globally and reached the top of the charts in 51 countries!

The K-pop star's single peaked at number one on all major Korean music streaming platforms, earning her, her first Perfect All Kill (PAK) as a solo artist. With over 51 million Spotify plays and counting, the song also became the largest debut by any artist in 2024.

Bruno Mars earned his highest debut number on the Global Spotify Counter ever, with over 6.8 million streams on the first day. 

  
Rosé's favorite Korean drinking game, Apartment, is referenced in the song's title. According to Rosé's agency, The Black Label, "'APT.' is actually my favorite Korean drinking game that I play with my friends back home."

"Its so simple, puts a smile on your face and breaks the ice at any party. One night in the studio, I taught my crew how to play the game. Everyone was fascinated, especially when I started the chant, so we played around with it and I said we should make a song out of it and after Bruno joined the track, the rest became history!"
