We’ve got Culinary Class Wars 2 crumbs besties, are you stoked?!
Based on recent announcements, it would appear that the showrunners for Korean reality cooking show Culinary Class Wars are recruiting for season 2.
Netflix's hit culinary competition series that captivated audiences worldwide a couple or months or so ago, noted that it is accepting applications from contestants for the show's second season, scheduled to be released in the latter half of 2025.
People can apply through the official social media channels of Netflix Korea. The casting call is open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds with a passion for cooking and a desire to push the boundaries of flavor.
Celebrity restaurateur Paik Jong-won and Korea's only Michelin three-star chef Anh Sung-jae will reprise their roles as judges.
"We're excited to discover new and exciting culinary talents for Season 2. Whether you're a seasoned professional or a home cook with a passion for food, we encourage you to apply”, said Jong-won.
"The first season was a testament to the incredible culinary talent in Korea. We're looking forward to seeing what the second season will bring and to continue our search for the ultimate culinary champion”, added Sung-jae.
Season 1 of Culinary Class Wars pitted 20 established white spoon chefs against 80 up-and-coming black spoon chefs in intense cooking battles. Chef Kwon Sung-jun, the Napoli Matfia, emerged victorious from the black spoon class.
